I’m on the long road toward opening a CrossFit box.  In the spectrum of businesses to open, CrossFit must be one of the easiest.  Very low overhead, very low needs in terms of space, an extremely reputable brand with virtually no franchising fee.  So again, I’ve got to imagine opening a CrossFit is far easier than opening most anything else.  Easy is relative.  And relativity is a bitch.

I’ve encountered more troubles than I can count.  That’s part of the reason for this blog.  I’m hoping to catalog the epic fails, the epic wins, and the daily grind that is my march toward owning my own business.

Since I’ve been on this roller coaster ride since July ‘09, I’ll try and backfill some of the more notable parts of my experiences.

This blog is not for you (that would go against the Randian theme of the title).  Instead it is a way for me to learn from my mistakes and remember how far I’ve come.  I do not advise anyone to follow the path I’ve been on.  This is not advice or a how-to.  It’s simply my experiences: take it or leave it.
